Lead Generation results - 46% click to open rate
Intellegentia recently delivered a series of lead generation email campaigns for the 2009 Stratford Business Expo which ran from the 13-14th October. The emails created a brilliant response and the Expo received a good turnout with local businesses from the region exhibiting and attending the two day show.
The emails sent in the run-up to the Expo incorporated a number of features including a video of the last Stratford Business Expo held in March and links to microsites with booking forms and exhibitor lists.
The emails produced some great results:
• We sent a series of four emails to 1594 people and a whopping 720 of them opened at least one email (45% open rate*)
• 333 of those who opened the email(s) went on to click on one or more of the links in the email (46% click to open rate*)
• 106 people went on to register for the Expo and/or for to book on seminars
o half of the seminar places were pre-booked through the email registration form
o this meant that the presenters could view the details of the people who were going to listen to them on the day
• sponsors saw an increase in traffic to their websites
• The email campaign doubled the number of exhibitors at the show
*studies show that average open rates are around 20% and average click to open rates are around 9%
